I found this while looking at random crap on Digg. It’s rather funny! ![]()

Hehe, I love this one
Ouch, a month between posts.
So anyway, Uni is back on track again. After more than a month of Christmas holidays. Doesn’t feel any different to be back to be honest, hehe.
This semester seems to have put programming on the back burner, which in my opinion, sucks. However we’re now doing a module titled Operating Systems, which includes som bash scripting, so I won’t be completely alienated from the world of coding.
Although saying that, I don’t think I’ll ever be alienated from the world of coding. If you’ve been checking up over at the XBlaze site, you’ll see I’ve been rather busy. It’s taken a while, but I think I’ve developed a strong enough grip on Cocoa and Objective-C to be able to start producing things with it. Even if most of the code there was written by Kainjow, I’ve implemented features that weren’t there, and even instigated an update of XfireLib to handle real-time nickname updating. Me == proud();
So anyway… I have a Wii! And it is extremely awesome! At the moment I only have three games, but it’s been enough to keep me entertained for long enough. Despite the fact that all my Gamecube games work with it as well.
The WiiMote has to be one of the most innovative technologies I’ve used for a long long while. It’s so intuitive. Just point… and flail… and play!
Twilight Princess is a very good game. I still haven’t completed it yet, but so far it’s proving its worth. I don’t think that the WiiMote makes the game any more special and I think that’s intentional, considering the game is also available for the Gamecube. Simple actions like attacking with your sword, which previously would have been tedious button pressing, have now been replaced by a swing of the WiiMote.
WiiSports, on the other hand, utilises the WiiMote to a much fuller potential. Tennis is possibly the best WiiSports game. Some might say “it feels nothing like playing real tennis”. And my response to that is: Well it’s not real tennis is it?! It’s Wii Tennis! Noobs.
Another thing about the Wii that has kept my entertained for hours is the fact that you can create your own little avatars called Miis. You can make a Mii to look like anyone you want - make one for yourself, your friends, even Hitler, Saddam and Ghandi! Yes, that’s right, I made Hitler, Saddam and Ghandi Mii’s. I also made a Jesus Wii. Begin the onslaught of angry e-mails! ![]()
I was filled with a sense of accomplishment when Bean said he turned his Wii on to find that Hitler, Ghandi and Saddam had just decided to migrate to his Wii! Go forth and reproduce!
Great fun… ![]()
